Vincent Yung is a proud queer designer and educator. He recieved his M.Arch from the Southern California Institute of Architecture (SCI-Arc) and a B.A from the University of Toronto, Canada. His graduate design thesis “Walk This Way” addresses the role of the community centre as a space for collective healing and action. He is currently the coordinator of the 123Make highschool workshop with the Institute of Educational Advancement. Vincent has previously designed at several LA based firms, including Testa & Weiser and Spinagu. His photography has been featured in many Canadian publications including Shift mag, enRoute Magazine and exhibited in Brooklyn, New York at the Photoville photography exhibition. Currently in quarantine, Vincent likes to eat kimchi fried rice, sit next to the air conditioner, and water his seven house plants.
